Over the past 6 months, I have done a lot of colour doodles at sketchcast.com and ratemydrawings.com. Even though these web-based drawing tools are quite simple in features and functions when compared against desktop paint programs, I somehow was able to arrive at a "look" that I feel very comfortable with, something that I was unable to "get to" before when using feature-rich desktop programs. Now that I have found what I like, I am switching back to desktop paint programs for their richer digital paint effects. The image below was done using Corel Painter.
